5 Wildwood Road: Sea Pines

This home was beautifully furnished and well laid-it. The furniture was very attractive and comfortable. Great attention to detail. It was extremely clean and we were provided with everything we needed. We loved our stay and Beverly and her associates made it a very positive experience. We definitely plan o. Returning.

The home is obviously very nice, but for the first time we are disappointed with our stay. The kitchen was a huge disappointment. Because we were staying during Christmas we planned to cook and spent a lot of money on special foods. The oven scorched everything - the top and bottom heating elements were not functioning properly, even when we tried to reduce temps. The cook top was just as bad. The front left heating area especially took forever to heat up and then over heated. The coffee pot was not working correctly. When you put in 10 cups, 8 brewed and then the brew function would start up again after 10 or 15 minutes. Also, I've never stayed in a home that restricted the use of the kitchen pantry - it was pad-locked and we only had one cabinet to store things in - we had food and snacks on the counters and the bar area. We really missed having access to the pantry. I don't mind paying top dollar for a nicer home, but I do mind when we don't have full access to what we payed for, and this was not a fully operational kithcen!

Susan-- I am soooo disappointed that you did not give us the opportunity to alleviate any of these issues during your stay. You never alerted us there were any! (Until we read this review, that is. Sigh.) I am so very sorry that your stay was anything less than stellar, as these were easy problems to fix. We have 24 hour concierge service for our guests as you know-- which makes your review so upsetting to me. Now that we do know, the cooktop and oven are being replaced immediately. The coffee maker: new one. Done. As for the pantry-- this house has lots of open cabinetry for food, as well as open shelving in the bar. We have never had a request for a pantry at this property (which here is a actually a closet). Again, if you had only called, we could have saved Christmas-- or the dinner, at least! I cannot stress enough the thoughtfulness that is put into the amenities of the Beverly Serral rentals. There was nothing left to chance. The house was beautiful, extremely clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with every imaginable cooking utensil, spices, plastic wrap, and more. We had an amazing family Thanksgiving on the island. Even my two small dogs enjoyed themselves. Speaking of pets, you would never know there had ever been any animals in the house previously. The neighborhood is hidden away from traffic yet very convenient to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, etc. It was perfect for long quiet walks. Also the house is just a short drive to the Sea Pines beach club. Overall a fantastic experience - we will definitely return.....

As we have experienced in the past with your firm, everything was just as described. The place was very clean and well stocked with basic supplies. Location was great for us. We bring our 9 lb dog and enjoy being allowed to have him with us on these trips, yet your properties do not have any indications that would make you think a dog had been there before. We had one question this stay about access to the community tennis courts, called your office, left a message and we received an reply answer in 5 minutes. very professional.

This was our forth year at 5 Wildwood and we love it. This house is VERY well maintained and spotless. This year the whole house has been painted and there is new carpet in all threes bedrooms. The kitchen has been updated with a new wall oven and cooktop. The proximity to the beach is a great feature of this house. Beverly and her staff are ready to assist you with any issues. We had a guest lock herself out of her bedroom one Sunday morning and Beverly was over within half an hour to save the day. We have already booked for next year.

You can't go wrong with a Beverly Serral Signature Rental! This was our second rental from Beverly Serral, and it is everything the property description says it is. If you are tired of walking into vacation rentals thinking you made a huge mistake (like we were), try renting from Beverly Serral. This property is very clean, well-maintained, beautifully decorated with quality materials, and well stocked. We felt right at home the minute we stepped in. Having just lost a wonderful dog to old age, we were looking for comfort, pampering, and relaxation. This home delivered. Try the wonderful spa tub in the master bath. This home is also in a great peaceful location, but it is close to everything Sea Pines offers. We are very active and love the beach. The beach is only a quick 10-minute bike ride away. The Beach Club is a 15-minute bike ride away...definitely worth the extra 5 minutes. We highly recommend this rental and all Beverly Serral Signature Rentals.

We had a wonderful trip and truly loved this home! We traveled with 5 adults, a toddler, and two boxers and this home felt nice and spacious for all of us! The house was spotless, even smelled clean upon entering. We were a VERY last minute party as our initial rental with another company turned out to be a disaster. After sending out a few SOS messages to several companies, Beverly contacted us back right away and we were in the house in under 30 minutes! We were most impressed by the cleanliness of the house, considering we weren't expected guests!! It was clear that Beverly and her BESTNEST team takes pride in their work and the satisfaction of their customers. Aside from cleanliness, the house was fully stocked with bath towels, beach towels (for humans and dogs), beach chairs, skim/boogie boards, beach wagon, sand toys, DVDs, games, and everything you may want to cook a few meals! Beverly totally saved us from having a disastrous vacation with this perfect home!

Wonderful location in Sea Pines - able to bike, drive or walk to the beach. The beach was amazing - sunrises were enjoyed by us humans and dogs, as dogs can be on the beach until 10am and after 5pm. We also enjoyed biking around Sea Pines - enjoying the Salty Dog/South Beach area as well as Harbor Town.

This property was so beautiful and we enjoyed our stay so much. The kitchen was beautiful, the beds were comfortable, towels and beach chairs were provided. There is a trolly that drops you right at the beach which was a great spot for food, bathrooms etc. We also had access to a pool that was a short walk from the house. The home was set in a very peaceful, wooded neighborhood. We had a party of five and each had their own private bedroom/bathroom combo. Will be looking to stay here again, or another Beverly Serral property.

House had a good layout and felt spacious. Overall was clean but could use a few updates. Had an issue on day two when the fridge stopped cooling. Beverly provided a cooler with ice so we didn't lose all our food. She sent over a device repair tech who found the fan on the fridge stopped running. Helped the technician vacuum out cooling rack under the unit. It was full of dust and lint which made the unit overheat.

My husband, two kids (3 & 1) and my in-laws had a wonderful stay at 5 Wildwood. The house was everything we wanted w/ an open kitchen and bathrooms for each bedroom. It was really nice to be able to cook and hang w/ everyone in the same room and not feel crowded, or worry about babies falling down stairs etc... The house was clean and well equipped in all ways. Unfortunate for us our car broke down when we were running to the grocery and I didn't know what to do so I called the 'Contact Us' phone number in the Beverly Serral App and Beverly answered and told me exactly where to go to have my car looked at. We had a wonderful stay at 5 Wildwood Rd, for our multi-generation family summer getaway and for attending a wedding in Sea Pines. Nothing was left unthought of, very comfortable and homey. We loved the upgrades to the kitchen and new flooring, beautiful. Our only wish for our next visit would to be closer to the beach, but this location is convenient to several restaurants and attractions, while feeling peaceful and secluded.

We enjoyed the house and had a wonderful time. The one complaint was about the parking with the neighbor across the street. We were not in the house 3 minutes and she came over to ask if our car was going to stay where it was. I told we had just arrived and would be moving it after we unpacked. Their yard directly across for the driveway was used for their parking which made getting out in an SUV difficult. The driveway where it meets the sidewalk has a slight slope to conncet the two there is enough of an edge that I twisted my ankle and another cut their toe. This should be leveled. The house and furnishings were very nice and well kept. Floors and mats were in good condition.

We had a great vacation at 5 Wildwood Road! Not only was the home comfortable, but it was convenient to all Sea Pines amenities (the Beach Club, the community pool, Harbortown, etc...). The Beverly Serral team thought of everything from hand soaps in the bathrooms to beach/pool toys for the kids. When we contacted management regarding old patio chairs, 4 new ones showed up the same day! The house was extremely well maintained and you could not even tell that it was "pet friendly". We love Sea Pines and will be renting from Beverly Serral again.

This is our third long term winter rental at 5 Wild Wood Rd. The house is spacious and tastefully furnished. We really like the layout with a full bathroom for each bedroom and the rooms are far apart for lots of privacy when we have guests. The house is well stocked right down to the laundry detergent, all you need buy is food. The kitchen is modern,well outfitted and open concept. Despite being dog friendly the house is spotless. We love the proximity to the beach and Greenwwod Forest is very quiet and peaceful. Beverly and her staff are very responsive to our needs. We will be back next year.

This home was spacious and well-appointed for our family visit with adult children. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and the open-concept kitchen/great room area provided a wonderful area to hang out and play games after a day at the beach. There were two small downsides to the house: the open kitchen/great room echoed tremendously, making it difficult to hear conversation over the pitter-patter of our grandchild's games; and, the house sits on a very small hill so there were about five steps into the house from any entry point so the unpacking (and re-packing process) took a little longer than some other homes we've visited. Overall, a very good stay.

The house at 5 Wildwood Road was perfect. As always, clean was an understatement. Everything was in working order and appeared as good as new. The kitchen had everything your can ask for making cooking full meals a joy. The back patio was perfect for our two dogs. We were able to connect an XPen to the bottom of the patio giving the pups a place to go with minimal when it was too late or early for a walk. The bathrooms were really nice especially the master suite. All we needed were ourselves, clothing and food. All else was provided for.

We plan on visiting again next year and would consider this house again or for fun try another one of their properties. This was our third property with Beverly and counting.
