We spent about 5 weeks at this house between the holidays in 2021. It was as described and very clean and well styled upon arrival. This property worked perfectly for our November vacation. So close to the beach and the neighborhood was very quiet (hardly any homes occupied). The extras make renting with Beverly Serral such a pleasure: the home is stocked with trash bags, beach towels, toilet paper, etc. Comfortable beds and bedding! We had a few brief wifi outages, but that may have been due to street construction nearby. Otherwise, the wifi was strong enough for video work, etc. New decking. Highly recommend this property.

This was our first visit to Laughing Gull but one of several Rentals from Beverly and team. We were as always amazed by the consistency of the experience across her properties-very clean, updated, fully stocked and all around wonderful. My husband dubs it as her “brand” and we don’t really like to rent from anyone but this team anymore. This particular rental is right by the beach which was a little different for us and very enjoyable for running and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

We've been coming to HHI for 15 years and this is our first Beverly Serral rental. The property was is excellent condition. Clean and comfortable and stocked with the basic items needed for the week. It was nice to not have to bring detergent, dish soap, paper towels, etc. We had a family of 5 including 3 teenage children and found the unit to have more than enough space. Beds were very comfortable. The location was just as described; short walk to the beach. Highly recommend this property.

This is the third time with rented with Beverly Serral. Her properties are unlike others. The kitchen has everything one needs including spices, sugar, s&p. Plus supplies for the beach eg towels and chairs, insulated coolers, toys and umbrellas; and general supplies eg paper towels, tin foil, toilet paper, shampoo, hair dryers. We would always use Beverly Serral when visiting Hilton Head.

Our family had a lovely stay at 8 Laughing Gull for Spring Break. The location is amazing, just a few steps from your feet in the sand! We loved taking our dogs and appreciated the opportunity to bring them. The house is so organized and well appointed with every cleaning supply imaginable and full kitchen with labels for every drawer and cabinet. The home is furnished beautifully and has a beachy vibe. Also enjoyed the beach chairs that come with the house. Bathrooms were immaculate and beds were cozy. Beverly Serral is lovely! We loved the welcome basket with goodies and she came by to check in on us and bring a stand up fan that we requested. We loved eating at Fraser's at Sea Pines club, biking, tennis at South Beach, and dinner at the Crazy Crab.

Beautiful home. Very well decorated and stocked with all essentials. Location was terrific. Easy access in and out of Sea Pines South Gate. Convenient path to beach and all the beach gear one would need. The BestNest team was very responsive to a grill issue we had and it got fixed same day. Great layout for three bedroom, three bath home with a three minute walk to the beach. The house was well decorated and stocked with everything we needed for a Thanksgiving stay with our family of four and two beagles. The bathrooms are newly renovated and the showers are fantastic!
We are so grateful to Beverly Serral and BestNest for allowing dogs in some of their beautiful properties. HHI in fall is such a great time to enjoy your dogs on the beach! Thank you also to the BestNest team for receiving some packages for us that arrived early and placing them in the house for our arrival. We highly recommend renting from this topnotch HHI company!

We enjoyed our time at 8 Laughing Gull. The house was very clean, including all kitchenware. There was plenty of space to relax, and the walk to the beach took less than 5 minutes. Upon arrival, our door code didn't work-- a quick call to Beverly Serral resolved the issue in less than a minute. Overall, a fantastic vacation rental!

It was a much needed family gathering after the isolation from Covid. The weather was warm, sunny and perfect temperature for beach time. The house is in a perfect location since there is such a short hop to the ocean. We had such a wonderful time all being together and the house/services made much of that possible. Beverly Serral rentals are always good. This rental was great! We most liked the location...very close to the Sea Pines beach. We also liked the bungalow layout, the calm decor, all the amenities and the pet friendly policy. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you’d need to prepare meals at home. The screened-in porch and the dining room easily accommodated 4 couples for evening meals. Beverly Serral’s team is very professional and a pleasure to work with. We hope to return next year.

We had a wonderful family vacation at this home. I’ve never rented from Beverly Serral before, but during these crazy times, when I came across her rentals, I felt they seemed to have better cleaning standards. The property was spotless and felt very clean and safe. It was so close to the beach, which since we have a toddler was fantastic for going home for nap time and returning later. We loved our stay and will definitely book with this company again!

We had a great time. The rental unit was well stocked..... even beach chairs, towels...etc. Couldn't have asked for more.

The only suggestion I have is that the mattress in the second and third bedroom Might need replacing. Very soft but that’s a personal preference.

Everything was so clean when we arrived and everything we needed was provided to us such as towls, shampoo, dish soap, etc. The walk to the beach was also very short and my dogs and I could get to the walking paths right away as well. We stayed for four days at 8 Laughing Gull. Found the house very clean, tons of supplies and beach things, very organized.
We loved the location, VERY close to beach. We were a little disappointed in the home. Parts felt dated, and the lack of garage or covered area meant parking our bikes out in the rain. No pool or outdoor area (firepit would be nice if allowed) meant staying indoors the whole time.
Beautiful home, but without a pool it just did not feel like a BEACH home.

We have been vacationing on HHI for approx. 30 years. This trip was our first rental thru Beverly Serral. It was the absolutely best experience. The home was immaculate, very comfortable and was exactly as presented in the photos. We enjoyed the large TVs (for the sports fans) and the Bose (for relaxing) and being near the beach path. We had a wonderful time, relaxed...the whole point of a good vacation!

Everyone at BSSR was professional, nice and caring. I felt they really want us to enjoy our trip and made sure we had everything we needed. They even left a nice gift basket for us upon arrival that included treats for my dog. We are looking forward to returning HHI and will look for a BSSR rental on our next trip. Top notch!

Our fourth year renting with Beverly Serrell won’t be our last! This was our first stay at 8 Laughing Gull. We chose this property due to its proximity to the beach. Given the ongoing disruption in activities related to the pandemic, we really wanted to be able to walk to the beach. We were not disappointed! Lovely home, clean, and well maintained. An easy walk to the beach allowed us to go enjoy the morning, come home for lunch and a quiet rest, then enjoy another beach visit before dinner. Our now 5 year old granddaughter always seems to sum our annual Hilton Head vacations. This year was no exception. She walked out of “her” bedroom and declared “ my room is awesome. Yep, we deserve this kind of life!” Thank you for making your homes feel like home to us! We will be back!

This was our first rental with Bestnest by Beverly at 8 Laughing Gull. Overall, it was an excellent choice for our first venture to Hilton Head Island. The home was as advertised with emphasis on Cleanliness-a big plus! Customer service- top notch! The proximity to the beach is a nice benefit and the bike trail is 50 yards away. The house was comfortable- my wife and I felt like we were sort of like “at home” with the offerings. During the course of our 22 day stay and knowing after a few days that we would return, we looked at other places in Sea Pines including Bestnest for a return trip next year. The house was perfect. Sea Pines is a great location! Very safe and all the house's are beautiful. Literally 5 minute walk to the beach! Bike/Walking path feet from the front door. We rode our bikes to Salty dog and to Harbor Town. Pet friendly house, I could walk my dog easily because of the location to the walking/bike path. Beverly was very accommodating. She even answered her phone after business hours when we couldn't figure out the
Wi-Fi. The house came with everything we needed for the beach. We only needed to buy food for the house. It came with everything! House was very clean. There is a grocery store less than 10 minutes way. I would highly recommend this house especially for a dog owner and family. We have 2 kids and they each had their own bedroom, bathroom and TV! The house was nice and bright because of all the windows. We all loved it! We hated to leave... I would not hesitate to stay there again!

We had a great stay at 8 Laughing Gull - the beach was indeed a very short walk (and to a pretty uncrowded part of the beach as well!) The house was beautifully decorated and clean. Very comfortable for a group of 4 adults and 2 children. Extremely well stocked from the beach supplies to kitchen tools to bathroom necessities. Only complaint was we couldn't find grill tools for the grill! Would definitely stay here again.

This is our second experience with BESTNEST. Our first was wonderful as well. We expected to bring our 10 month old puppy with us and were confident a BESTNEST rental would be superior to any other "pet friendly" option. In the end we did not bring our puppy with us and we were not disappointed. The home was impeccably clean. The furniture is as described. The bathrooms were lovely. The kitchen was fine. There was no sign pets had been in the home at any time.
The ONLY downside is the lack of an inviting outdoor space. The screened porch has a dining table which seemed redundant. Comfortable outdoor seating and lighting would be a better choice for that area. There is no pool.

I’ve stayed at Sea Pines several times but this was my first Beverly Serral rental, and it was definitely a cut above. The House was in great condition, which I expect in Sea Pines, but this property had everything we needed - no need to pack beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. - it was all there in abundance. We cooked several nights and the kitchen was thoroughly stocked with whatever cookware and implements we needed (including two coffee makers). Paper goods, some staples (cooking oil, salt, grill spray...) were also already stocked. I will rent again from Beverly. Her staff were also easy to reach, personable, professional and helpful. I’m a very critical person and I had no complaints. The house and how it was managed exceeded my expectations.

We loved our stay and Laughing Gull The slow walk to the beach can’t be more than 2.5 to 3 minutes and that’s going slow. We didn’t realize how close the fourth row to the beach really was and we feel like we had extra time in the week because of the last time walking there. We have come to find that Beverly Serral‘s rentals are a priority for us as they are equipped you like no other, clean like no other and the bedding is always high end which means a lot when we travel and are away from our own comforts of home.

The house was clean, had everything we needed to enjoy the beach and to come back and relax in the evening. A home away from home. The house is well furnished in a comfortable, contemporary fashion. Beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen was really well stocked with virtually all types of cooking utensils, pots and pans and the dishes and cutlery were new, cleaned very attractive. The facility was managed more like a large suite in a hotel rather than the usual beach rental. Beverly has a great business model. I would definitely stay again. The house is a spacious 3BR/3BA with all amenities. The lot is quite small so the outdoor space is not particularly usable or private but with beach access and bike and walking paths at your doorstep I didn't feel I missed out on anything.

This is a wonderful place to stay for a Hilton Head vacation. The house is walking distance from the beach and this part of the beach was never crowded!
